Music is My Muse
The latest issue of W magazine is music and style themed, complete with dueling Christina Aguilera and Beyonce covers. Among the music and style themed content inside, there is photo spread of some of your favorite fashion designers with some of your favorite musicians. But the pairings were no accident. Each designer chose the musical muse they wanted to pose with. Some choices seem obvious like Alexander Wang and Diplo and even the Donatella and MIA pairings. Others are a tad more surprising like the Proenza Schouler boys with Yoko Ono and that someone chose Kanye, and it was the ladies of Rodarte. Karl cant get enough of Janelle Monae, Diplo thinks we should move to Philadelphia and wait to start a band until we are 40, Yoko Ono tells it like it is, and other gems in this very entertaining the behind the scenes video from the shoot.
