The Smiley Bow

The blog of the week This week we present to you the blog The Smily Bow, by Giuls. Giulia is a smiley girl that lives en Milan, she is creative, pigheaded, always undecided, imaginative, loves Christmas and Spring, is almost always happy, a sleepyhead and of course, a fashion lover and shopaholic. How did you get in touch with fashion?

I think I have been in touch with fashion since I was a child, I loved choosing my outfit without any parent’s help, and the general result was pretty cool, but sometimes I made some horrible matches!!! And as all the little girls I loved dressing me up with mum’s or aunt’s heels and old clothes!!!

Why do you have a fashion blog and for how long for?

I’ve been reading for a lot of time some of the biggest fashion blogs, and one day my boyfriend urged me on making my own blog! I opened my blog exactly on November 1st 2010, at the begging it was pretty difficult But I always had my boyfriend’s aid concerning graphics and photos!!!

What are your favourite blogs?

I absolutely love Andy Torres from Style Scrapbook, her blog was the first fashion blog I got in touch with. I also like Cupcakes And Cashmere by Emily, she’s always original and full of new ideas!
And The Blonde Salad by Chiara Ferragni one of the few Italian blogs that I read day by day.

What do you do in your “real” life?

In this period, to me it’s hard to answer to this question. Last year I completed the high school and I started the university But I didn’t like it very much! So I began with an English school and I started to work as a children parties’ animator. And now I’m looking around for a fashion school, which can get me ready for my dream job!!!

Do you have a favourite designer(s) or fashion icons?

My favourite fashion icon is Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port (I watched all the seasons of The Hills and The City!). Instead, as a designer I think that Rosella Jardini is doing a great job I love Moschino!

Would you like to say anything else concerning your blog or in general?

My blog isn’t only a fashion blog, it’s something more personal, like a diary: I love sharing my free time, some good places I’ve been to, my recipes, my friends, my hobbies and obviously my outfits of course
I hope I’m doing a good job!!! : ))))
