Tupac Shakur’s Screenplay Is In Development
Just a mere 15 years after his death, Tupac Shakurs screenplay is in development at NStar Studios. Written in 1995 while Shakur was serving prison time, Live 2 Tell depicts the life of a teenage drug baron as he tries to leave behind his life of crime. Tupac: Resurrection producer Preston Holmes has been trying to get the film made since prior to Shakurs death; with the help of Hustle & Flow producer Dwight Williams and Shakurs mother Afeni Shakur, it looks like the film will finally start production in early 2012. As for casting the lead in the Tupac Shakur movie, Holmes isnt too concerned with casting any ol A-lister. We think that the name we need is the name we have, which is Tupac Shakur, he explains.
