If theres hope for a man who has been put in a friendly headlock by Michael Lohan, then theres hope for us all. In a surprising reversal for such a prominent member of the Terrible Hollywood Parent Club (First rule: never talk about THP club), The Situations dad apologized for using his sons image to insult him in the press, filling a settlement to end the on-going feud with his son. Wow, and here we thought giving Mr. Situation any attention would have the same effect as water on a gremlin: it might have been a mistake, but its too late to do anything about it now. Gallianos Trial Commences in Paris, LVMH Finds Replacement: John Gallianos trial got started in Paris last week.  The highlights:  he had a triple addiction to sleeping pills, alcohol and Valium, he has no recollection of his tirade of anti -Semitic remarks and we have to wait until September 8th to hear a final verdict on the matter.  Since he was already fired from Dior back in March and also from his eponymous label in April, the fashion world waits to see who LVMH will hire to replace him.  Despite rumours that Galliano may be rehired, LVMH announced on Monday that they had chosen Bill Gaytten (who worked alongside Galliano for 23 years) as the new creative director of the John Galliano label.  {Telegraph UK}

Im living in crazy town at the moment. That place where I forget that I exist in the same time space continuum as the rest of the world and try and pack even more into a week than a sane person usually does. And yet, how can I not with all this fun to be had?

Last week I had a full week of photoshoots, hair & makeup, weddings and events planned; and boy was it a big one! First up on Tuesday  I spent a full day on set with four of my glamorous models putting together a look book of my vintage bridal and formal styling. It was fancy gowns and full hair & makeup looks that ran the scale from 1930s movie star to 1950s prom sweetheart.
