If you follow me on Facebook youll have a pretty good idea of where I disappeared to this last week. As usual, I leave town with all the best intentions of blogging while Im away, then find myself working and or socialising every minute of the day and night. The last week in Port Macquarie was no different, with so much to do that I somehow managed to do a whole week on no more than 3 hours sleep each night! Yes, self inflicted torture but what fun!
Having never been to Port Macquarie I didnt really know what to expect of the town. In fact I had done so little research that it didnt even occur to me that it would have a beach duh.

Accessorizing your beachwear is tricky thing to master. Between sandals, shades, cover ups, straw hats and the right SPF, a girl really has to plan to get her look just right. And then of course comes the beach bag. It has to be big enough to fit your must-have beach gear (sunscreen, rag mags, water, iPod, your kitchen sink) but cute enough to match your favorite bikini. Yesterday, Jayma Mays attended the Critics’ Choice Television Awards in LA. Like always, the actress looked amazing on the red carpet.
The on-screen guidance counselor wore a bright Elise Overland printed strapless dress. She wisely paired the look with nude pumps, which elongated her gams.
While we adore her preppy ensembles on Glee, we definitely love her personal style more. Not only does she have an eye for style but also an eye for detail too. Just look at how the she coordinated her outfit, the peach Ann Taylor fold-over clutch matched the orange tones of the frock.
